Hawks Wrestling Team Captures Fourth Straight Win!

The Hawks Wrestling Team took their 4th consecutive 1st place trophy Wednesday night at the West Las Vegas Jamboree. First place medals went to, Izzy Maestas, Antonio Vigil, Devin Atencio and Damien Gonzales. LAHS Girls’ Basketball Team Defeats Belen Thursday

Thursday night the Hilltoppers Girls’ basketball team moved to 4-0 on the young season with a hard-fought 62-42 victory over the Belen Eagles.
 
The Toppers led by only 14-12 after the first quarter and only 30-25 at halftime.

Los Alamos Rifle Team Scores At Duke City

The Los Alamos rifle teams traveled to West Mesa High School Nov. 21 to compete in the Duke City Cup match.
 
This match drew more than 200 participants from New Mexico and Texas. Los Alamos competed with five precision and six sporter class shooters. New Mexico is one of the few locations in the country that has the Megalink electronic target system for large events such as this.

Los Alamos School of Gymnastics traveled to Rio Rancho Nov. 15 to compete in the annual Eagle Ridge Autumn Invitational.
 
Chantel Biebeault was the high scorer of the day taking first place in the Silver juniors division with a 37.05. Chantel also took first on vault and beam. She tied for first on bars with team mate Anika Lovato and was third on floor. 
 
Anika Lovato was second all around with 36.85. Anika also placed first on floor and second on beam.

TRIATOMICS CLUB News:

The Los Alamos Triatomics Club announces the 2015 Christmas Lights Runs. Come find out how fun it is to run at night with a group of your peers. 

We will run through various Los Alamos neighborhoods to check out their outdoor lights. The routes are mostly on quiet residential streets to avoid the noise and smell of traffic. Non club members are welcome to run with us.

Runs are scheduled for every Monday and Wednesday night between Thanksgiving and Christmas or until there are ice patches on the streets. Monday nights will be a bit shorter and flatter~3 miles. Wednesday Read More
