Friday’s Los Alamos High School Cross Country Home Meet at the Los Alamos Golf Course started with beautiful weather, but then a massive thunderhead built over Pajarito Mountain, causing a nearly two hour lightning delay after the first race (Girls JV).

SANTA FE—It’s time to gear up for another season on the slopes! The Santa Fe Ski Team is hosting its annual Ski Swap Oct. 30-31 at the Genoveva Chavez Community Center (GCCC) in Santa Fe.
The Santa Fe Ski team invites the public to participate in the event – drop off ski-related items noon to 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30.

High Flyers Gymnastics is raising money to buy mats that will keep their young athletes safe while they work on more advanced skills.
The not-for-profit organization currently has 200 gymnasts. To meet the needs of those students, they are moving into a new (and secret) location, and updating their equipment.
