Fall is approaching and the time to get ready for the upcoming ski season is upon us. The annual Los Alamos Ski Swap, hosted by the Los Alamos Ski Racing Club is Saturday, Oct. 17.
 
The ski swap is a decades-long tradition of Los Alamos. It’s unclear exactly what year the first swap was held, but many an “experienced” skier will tell you it’s been going on for at least 30 years. The swap is free to the public, and is the primary fundraiser for LASRC, a 501c3 non-profit

Wednesday evening the Hilltopper volleyball team played host to their formidable rivals, the Espanola Valley Sundevils. This match was originally scheduled to be played in Espanola but a threat of violence forced the temporary closure of Espanola high school so the match location was switched.
