The Los Alamos School of Gymnastics travelled to Rio Rancho Nov. 14-16 for the Eagle Ridge Autumn Invitational where 300 gymnasts represented 12 teams from New Mexico.

The Mountain Club is a member of USA Swimming.

The mission of the Club is to provide an opportunity for all ages to engage in physical fitness, proper conditioning, and recreational activity, to provide an environment for participant to effectively learn swimming skills and compete in organized swimming competitions, and to encourage young students to achieve the excellence in swimming as well as academics.

Walkup Aquatic Center HVAC And Boiler Replacement Reopening Delayed

COUNTY News:

The project at the Walkup Aquatics Center was originally planned to reopen to the public in mid-November. The pool is not ready yet but will reopen soon. 

The pool closed Aug. 17 after the Los Alamos Triathlon for this project. The $2.2 million project replaces the 26-year-old boilers and HVAC for the entire building. 

The major equipment is installed in the building and final connections and controls programming are now taking place. As soon as the system demonstrates proper operation and the State construction and pool inspections are complete, the reopening will Read More
