NCRTD Buses To Begin Operating At Full Capacity Tuesday

RTD News:

Upon the re-opening of the State of New Mexico, RTD Blue Buses will eliminate capacity restrictions effective Tuesday, July 6. Additionally, reservations will no longer be mandatory on routes previously requiring them.

Federal law also requires passengers and drivers (with limited exceptions) to wear a properly fitting mask at all times while on-board. Social distancing is encouraged when possible.

The NCRTD will continue to take aggressive measures to clean and disinfect passenger vehicles and provide air circulation.

SANTA FE – This Independence Day, the New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) and statewide law enforcement agencies are participating in the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over impaired driving awareness campaign.

In support of the law enforcement community’s dedication to protecting the lives of residents in their communities, law enforcement agencies will be working together during the holiday weekend to take drunk drivers off the roads.

County: Face Coverings Required To Board And Ride Atomic City Transit Through Sept. 13

ACT News:

Atomic City Transit (ACT) will continue to require through Sept. 13 “Face Coverings” to board and ride Act buses.

In compliance TSA Emergency Mandate EA 1546-21-01A face coverings for nonvaccinated and those already vaccinated will be required.

Informational flyers have been placed on each bus and at bus stop locations.

In addition, ACT will continue to follow other measures to enhance public health safety in providing transit services:

NCRTD: Blue Bus Fourth Of July Holiday Schedule

NCRTD News:

The North Central Regional Transit District (NCRTD) RTD “Blue Bus” 255 Mountain Trail and 305 Taos Express will operate on its normal schedule, Sunday, July 4.

RTD “Blue Buses” will not operate Monday, July 5, in observance of the Fourth of July holiday with the exception of the 255 Mountain Trail into the Santa Fe National Forest which will operate.

Buses are now operating at 50 percent capacity and masks are required for all individuals per federal mandate.

Bus Stop Closure Notice: Trinity-35th & Trinity-Timber Ridge

COUNTY News:

The Los Alamos County Atomic City Transit Department announces a temporary Stop Closure Notice for Stop #103 at Trinity Drive and 35th Street as well as Stop #104 at Trinity Drive and Timber Ridge closed during construction.
