County Traffic Alert: Crack Sealing On North and South San Ildefonso Road And North Mesa Road Begins Wednesday

COUNTY News:

Los Alamos County Public Works Traffic & Streets Division begins a pavement preservation project along North and South San Ildefonso Road and on North Mesa Road.

Work hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Work is anticipated to be completed by the end of April, weather permitting.

A flagging operation will be used to move vehicles safely through the work zone. Vehicle traffic is urged to slow down and obey all traffic control devices.

Crosswalk Improvement Project On Alta Vista Between Cerrillos Road And St. Francis Begins Monday

SANTA FE — The New Mexico Department of Transportation would like to inform the traveling public that construction will begin Monday, April 6, on Alta Vista, between Cerrillos Road and St. Francis Road in Santa Fe.

Improvements include new pedestrian flashing beacons at the upgraded crosswalks along with ADA improvements.

Work is expected to be complete by May 30.

NCRTD To Temporarily Modify 11 Blue Bus Routes To Provide Essential Trips Only; Red River Route Suspended

While continuing to provide an essential service during the COVID-19 outbreak, the North Central Regional Transit District (RTD Blue Bus) has identified 11 of its 29 routes that will be modified beginning Wednesday, April 8 and one that will be suspended.

SANTA FE — Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham issued an executive order Tuesday to facilitate the speedy transit of emergency relief goods across New Mexico.
