The Los Alamos County Public Works/Traffic Division provides the latest updates on the following projects:
North Mesa: Alamo, Sioux, San Ildefonso Rd and Tsankawi Street Curb & Sidewalks
GM Emulsion will finish replacing curb, sidewalk, repair valley gutters and driveway aprons along Alamo Road between San Ildefonso Road and Tsankawi Street by 6 p.m. Monday.
Road Striping and Curb Painting: Los Alamos and White Rock
Traffic and Streets crews will be striping roads and curbs on 15th Street, Knecht, Oppenheimer and 20th Street in Los Alamos and Longview Drive and Sherwood Read More

Diamond Drive Paving
Final construction work is wrapping up. Minor road work may continue this week as the contractor cleans up around utility manhole covers within the work zone; expect some periodic lane drops.

Gabriel Dufal, the 2019-2020 Youth Exchange student hosted by the Rotary Club of Los Alamos, recently told members about his life and family in Lyon, the second largest city in France. His mother is a teacher; his father an accountant. Dufal arrived in New Mexico for the school year in early August and has already participated in both the Fair and Rodeo Parade and Homecoming Parade. He also has spent a weekend in Chama, riding aboard the Cumbres and Toltec Railroad with other Rotary youth exchange students assigned to District 5520, which encompasses all of New Mexico and west Texas.
