RTD 255 Mountain Trail Fares Waived To Celebrate National Public Lands Day Sept. 28

In partnership with the Santa Fe National Forest and to celebrate National Public Lands Day, the North Central Regional Transit District will waive fares on its RTD Blue Bus 255 Mountain Trail route Saturday, Sept. 28.
 
On that day, the Santa Fe National Forest will waive fees at many recreation sites and amenities. Traffic Alert With Updated Map:

Starting Monday, Sept. 30, N.M. 502 (Trinity Drive) eastbound and westbound traffic will be shifted to the south side of N.M. 502 (Trinity Drive) for the section of roadway between Arroyo Lane and east of Tewa Loop.

There will be one lane of travel in each direction.

White Rock Crack Sealing Project Delay

COUNTY News:

The vendor performing the crack sealing on Bryce Avenue in White Rock this week had to cancel due to weather and other issues.

They have already issued door hangars for residents in this area. Residents should disregard the door hangars as the crew will not be crack sealing this week.

Weather permitting, the crew will resume work the week of Sept. 30. Door hangers will be re-issued the day before they anticipate resuming the project.

WASHINGTON, D.C. U.S. Sen. Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.) has announced $2 million in funding for the Roswell International Air Center as part of an ongoing effort to rehabilitate, maintain and strengthen airport operations.

The Atomic Man Duathlon Fat Man race begins at 8 a.m. and the Little Boy Race begins at 8:20 a.m. The races should end by 12:30 p.m. The intersection of Grand Canyon at N.M. 4  (at Pajarito Road) will be manned by police officers.
