NMSP Participate In July 4th C.A.R.E. Operation

NMSP News:

During the Independence Day holiday, the New Mexico State Police participated in the Combined Accident Reduction Effort (CARE) operation across all roadways within the state.

The goal of the traffic initiative is that a strong law enforcement presence will have a direct effect on the driving behaviors of motorists during the holiday, and, thus, reduce the number of crashes and increase motorist safety.

NCRTD Provides Special Event Bus Services To Santa Fe Wine Festival At El Rancho De Las Golondrinas July 6-7

The North Central Regional Transit District’s (NCRTD) RTD “Blue Bus” will provide special event bus transit services July 6-7 for the Santa Fe Wine Festival at El Rancho de las Golondrinas.

Crews continue adjusting manholes in Ponderosa Estates along Aspen Drive, Sumac Lane and Maple Drive. Work is scheduled to continue through the end of July. The concrete being used is a high strength mix and requires a cure time; therefore, residents are urged to avoid driving over these manholes for the first few days after they are poured. ALBUQUERQUE The Fourth of July “Take a Ride on Us” program begins at runs until 3 a.m. Sunday, July, 7.
 
Twelve-hundred rides will be offered under the Uber app, using the code: ABQUSA19. Tips are not included and refunds are not provided for trips under $10.
 
The New Mexico Department of Transportation Bernalillo County, The City of Albuquerque, Cumulus radio stations and Uber have partnered to support “Take a Ride on Us.”
 
The collaborative goal is to ENDWI by offering an Uber credit of up to $10 for up to two trips in the Bernalillo County metro area

Because of scheduled Independence Day events proceeding on Central Avenue the morning of Thursday, July 4, those attending the Farmer’s Market at the Mesa Public Library overflow lot are asked to use Rose Street or Canyon Road and park at the Betty Ehart Senior Center on Bathtub Row.
