Lane Closure At North Mesa/San Ildefonso Roads

COUNTY News:

Los Alamos County Traffic and Streets crews will begin patching a road Monday, Nov. 13, at the intersection of North Mesa Road and San Ildefonso Road.

Motorists can expect a single lane closure 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with a flagging operation and the County will work to minimize the impact of this road construction.

Update On Crash On Truck Route Near LANSCE

CRASH Update:

Three people involved in the two-vehicle crash around dusk Monday on the Truck Route near the LANSCE turn off were transported to Los Alamos Medical Center with various not life threatening injuries, according to police.

One driver was cited for failure to yield. For a period of time following the crash, travel was down to one lane in each direction. Commuters were asked to avoid the truck route that evening and to prepare for delays. Read More

Temporary Lane; Sidewalk Closures On Trinity Drive

As part of 20th Street Extension Project, construction crews will be performing paving operations next week on 20th Street at the intersection of Trinity Drive.

This work requires temporary lane and sidewalk closures on Trinity Drive near 20th Street, scheduled as follows, weather permitting:

  • Tuesday, Nov. 7 through Friday, Nov. 10, eastbound right lane.

State Police Checkpoints And Saturation Patrols Across New Mexico Counties Throughout November

Update: NM 502 Lane Closure At Jaconita

UPDATE: All N.M. 502 westbound lanes have re-opened. Eastbound lanes will be opened in 5 minutes. Proceed with caution. Closure is removed.

The Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office has announced that N.M. 502 westbound at mile marker 16 at Jaconita is closed.

A power line is down across the roadway.
