New Mexico Wildlife Center (NMWC) invites area youth, K-12, to create a piece of “hangable” art centered on the theme “pollinators.” All media accepted. Winners receive free admission to NMWC’s Pollinator Party on July 8 to view their art hanging in the center!

Udall, Heinrich: $13 Million From U.S. Army Corps Of Engineers For Flood Control And Water Quality Projects

U.S. SENTATE News:

WASHINGTON—U.S. Senators Tom Udall and Martin Heinrich today announced that the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has provided $13 million for flood management, water infrastructure, and environmental restoration projects throughout New Mexico.

The funding comes at the request of Udall and Heinrich following passage in May of the Fiscal Year 2017 omnibus appropriations bill, which funds the government through September. Los Alamos Little Theatre will hold auditions for the play, “Communicating Doors,” by Alan Ayckbourn, which will be performed in September.
