County Grapples With Economic Development Puzzle

In 2025, as in previous years, a major focus for Los Alamos County was improving economic development and assisting local businesses.

How to achieve these goals is constantly being investigated and discussed. Finding the answer seems more like solving a complicated riddle or a many-sided Rubik’s Cube. Reminder: Los Alamos Golf Course Is Closed For Winter

COUNTY News:

The Los Alamos County Golf Course would like to remind citizens that the course is closed for play for the winter.

Walking onto any part of the course to play golf during the winter closure is not permissible.

Additionally, the grass is dormant, and playing could cause damage to the root system that staff have worked tirelessly to establish over the past year.

A few weeks ago, we interviewed Los Alamos Police Department Cmdr. Brent Hudspeth at the Los Alamos County Courthouse. Hudspeth is a tall man with brown eyes. We learned that he has a wife and a baby boy named Sebastian.
