New Mexico Unemployment Rate: 4.3% In October 2024

New Mexico’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was 4.3 percent in October, up from 4.2 percent in September and up from 4.0 percent the previous year.

The national unemployment rate in October was 4.1 percent, unchanged from September and up from 3.8 percent in October 2023. Total nonagricultural payroll employment grew by 11,500 jobs, or 1.3 percent, between October 2023 and October 2024.

Non-Essential County Government Facilities Will Open Today

COUNTY News:

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for Los Alamos County, with temperatures expected to drop below freezing tonight.
