Los Alamos Little Theater (LALT) is hosting a theater lighting workshop open to anyone who wants to learn how to set, design and run lights during a live theater performance.
The class will be held 1-6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, at the PAC, 1670 Nectar St. The workshop is free and donations are welcome.
Participants will learn the basics of theater lighting with lighting expert Hadley Hershey, who has worked extensively with the lighting equipment at LALT as well as at various theaters as a professional lighting technician, including in New York City.

The TGIF concert this week features “Participants’ Recital for the Santa Fe Summer Organ Academy” Aug. 2 at First Presbyterian Church, 208 Grant Ave. in Santa Fe.
