SANTA FE – New Mexico state health officials today announced 255
additional COVID-19 cases.
Los Alamos County reports two more cases today so the total is now 492 people who have tested positive for COVID-19. (County totals are subject to change upon further investigation and determination of residency of individuals positive for COVID-19.)

Today’s update includes 12 more deaths in New Mexico related to COVID-19.

COVID Vaccine Booster Clinic Smith Auditorium Wednesday

COUNTY News:

The New Mexico Department of Health is holding a COVID-19 vaccine clinic noon to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday for second “booster” Pfizer shots.

Only booster shots will be administered. The clinic will be at Duane Smith Auditorium and participants should have already been notified of their appointment time by DOH email or text message.

No walk-ins will be accepted; participants must have an appointment.

County Offering COVID Vaccines To Homebound Residents

COUNTY News:

Los Alamos County’s Emergency Management Office, in coordination with the Social Services Office, have begun offering COVID vaccines to those who meet the current criteria for the vaccine as defined by the State of New Mexico, but who may be homebound for medical reasons and therefore unable to attend a vaccine clinic at a local facility.
