Jemez Historic Site To Host Trio Of Happenings In June

From star gazing to rock painting to digging into gardening, the community is invited to make these programs part of the early summer plans at Jemez Historic Site.

Get the summer off to a hot start in the cool mountain air at Jemez Historic Site and learn some new skills. The Los Alamos Teen Center will welcome the Los Alamos High School (LAHs) Class of 2030 to the Teen Center with a free Welcome BBQ, 3-6 p.m., today, June 5.

Incoming freshmen are invited to stop by, enjoy free food, play games, meet staff, and get familiar with everything the Teen Center has to offer.

Atomic City Transit To Provide SummerFest Shuttle Service

COUNTY News:

The annual SummerFest event will be held at Pajarito Mountain from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, June 6. 

Atomic City Transit (ACT) will provide shuttle service from the Duane Smith Auditorium parking lot at Los Alamos High School to the Pajarito Mountain Ski Lodge.

Camp May Road will experience an increase in traffic, especially in the Lodge parking lot.

Motorists are urged to slow down and watch for others.
