Bandelier National Monument will host Fall Fiesta – Changing Leaves, Enduring Traditions, Oct. 11-12, 2025. This is a two-day event with over 70 artists/vendors from various Pueblos and Tribes, scheduled programs, dance groups and much more.

Bandelier’s Fall Fiesta theme for 2025 is Changing Leaves, Enduring Traditions. Come join this special event and enjoy Frijoles Canyon in the new season! Fall Fiesta will be from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., both Saturday, Oct. 11 and Sunday, Oct. 12.

ALBUQUERQUE — The 53rd ExxonMobil Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta® will host the
largest gathering of special shape balloons as a part of the world’s premier balloon event, October 4-12,
2025. This year’s event will include 100 special shape balloons; 11 of those shapes will make their first
Balloon Fiesta appearance.

A New Mexico tradition since 1986, the 2025 El Rito Studio Tour and Mercado will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 27, and Sunday, Sept. 28.

This year’s tour has expanded to more than 20 artists in studios throughout El Rito, including exciting newcomers such as:

Late summer is always a good time to see our wonderful wildflower numbers. Right now there is a particularly large number of blooms (some 50 species!) on the Walnut Canyon Rim Trail.

This trail goes between the golf course and Walnut Canyon. It begins just off of San Ildefonso Road, just beyond the roundabout. One goes up a dirt road for about a hundred yards, then turns left onto a trail. A bit farther on, that trail splits with the Walnut Canyon Rim Trail going right.
