Dr. Spencer Lucas, Curator of Paleontology at the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science, will present a public lecture titled “Rethinking Mass Extinctions”, offering a radically different perspective on one of Earth’s most dramatic biological events.

Drawing from decades of research, Dr. Lucas challenges conventional thinking by reevaluating the evidence and arguments surrounding mass extinction events.

Wonders On Wheels Mobile Museum Travels State In June

NMDCA News:

The Wonders on Wheels Mobile Museum, a division of the New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs, is hitting multiple corners of the state this June with the exhibit, “Eight Sites, One History: Explore the Past at New Mexico Historic Sites”.

Visitors can see the exhibit, sponsored by New Mexico Historic Sites, which highlights the distinctive stories revealed at each of the state’s eight sites, from Indigenous lifeways to Spanish settlement to US statehood and beyond.
