Tickets Available For Guitarist Genevieve Leitner’s Performance at Bethe House Thursday

A few tickets remain for the benefit concert the Pajarito Environmental Education Center (PEEC) will hold at 7p.m. Thursday, July 24.

Renowned guitarist Genevieve Leitner will perform for the intimate audience, at the beautifully renovated and historic Hans Bethe House on Bathtub Row. Tickets are on sale now on PEEC’s website for $35. If tickets remain on the day of the show, they also will be sold at the door for $40.

Hiking, Biking, Beer & Music July 26

The Second Annual Los Alamos Beer Co-op Fiesta is Saturday, July 26 at Pajarito Mountain Ski Area. The Fiesta features lift-served biking and hiking 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. as well as a New Mexico brewers fest with live music noon to 6 p.m. Atomic City Transit Shuttle will run every ½ hour from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. from Sullivan Field.

Two Young Artists Concerts in Taos July 26-27

The Taos School of Music (TSM) will host two Young Artists concerts July 26-27.

The first concert is scheduled for 8 p.m. Saturday, July 26 at the Hotel St. Bernard, Taos Ski Valley. On the program: Mozart: Divertimento for String Trio in E Flat Major, K 563, and Beethoven: Piano Trio D Major, Op. 70, No. 1, “Ghost Trio.” The concert is free and open to the public.

Culture Rich ‘Fiestas de Taos’ July 19-20

The centuries old, culturally rich celebration of Fiestas de Taos will take place in Taos through Sunday, July 20 and includes festivities in honor of the feast days of Taos’ Catholic patron saints, St. Anne and St. James (Santa Ana y Santiago).

One of Taos’ staple annual events, Fiestas de Taos features live music donated by local talent, traditional dances, parades, and special presentations along with food and crafts vendors and activities for children.
