Los Alamos Community Winds To Present 2024 Holiday Prism Concert Saturday Dec. 14

LACW News:

The Los Alamos Community Winds (LACW) presents its annual Holiday Prism Concert at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14 at Crossroads Bible Church. The concert will be made up of performances by members from the community – the Los Alamos Flutes, Los Alamos Clarinet Choir, SaxAtomix and other small ensembles along with individual solo performances by pianist Arthur Lui, flutist Mariana Ruthstrom and trumpeter Alex Vives.

Singer/Songwriter Max Gomez will be in Los Alamos later this month for two special performances.

Gomez will perform 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 29 in the historic Oppenheimer House.

His second concert is 7-9 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 29 in Fuller Lodge.

It’s that time of year again! Dance Arts Los Alamos (DALA) is performing its yearly production of the Nutcracker, but with a twist. This year’s production is the second installment of Artistic Director Jonathan Guise’s “Nutcracker on the Hill” trilogy.
