ALBUQUERQUE — New Mexico Attorney General Hector Balderas is asking for the public’s assistance in locating missing indigenous 53-year-old Harris Y. Begay, who was last heard from Thursday, Oct. 27, 2022.

Begay was driving a 2018 Grey Chevrolet Malibu with New Mexico License Plate: ATRS47. Begay’s vehicle has been located but his whereabouts are still unknown.

NMSP: Missing Endangered Advisory – Adrian Guzman

NMSP News:

The New Mexico State Police is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Adrian Guzman, a 51-years-old a Hispanic male, 5’11” tall, weighing 198 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Guzman was last seen wearing a grey hoodie and blue jeans. He was last seen around 10 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 6, leaving a family member’s residence in Silver City.

The vehicle Guzman was driving was located at the Gila Cliff Dwellings in Mimbres. Guzman is believed to be armed and has made threats to harm himself.

Guzman is missing and is believed to be in DANGER if not located.

NMSP: Triple Fatality In Otero County

OTERO COUNTY — At about 9:16 a.m. Nov. 4, the New Mexico State Police (NMSP) investigated a fatal crash at the intersection of Angelina Boulevard and Steve Drive in Chaparral, New Mexico.

The initial investigation shows a 2007 Toyota Corolla, driven by a sixteen-year-old male was traveling east on Steve Drive. FBI: Man Charged With Assault In Sundance Stabbing

ALBUQUERQUE — Alexander M.M. Uballez, United States Attorney for the District of New Mexico, and Raul Bujanda, Special Agent in Charge of the FBI Albuquerque Field Office, announced that Larry Gene Charley made an initial appearance Oct. 28 in federal court on a criminal complaint charging him with assault with a dangerous weapon and assault resulting in serious bodily injury in Indian Country.

Charley, 60, of Sundance, New Mexico, and an enrolled member of the Navajo Nation, will remain in custody pending a preliminary and detention hearing scheduled for Nov. 1, 2022.

Access To Civil Legal Resources Improved Through Judicial Partnership With New Mexico State Library

SANTA FE — Libraries are helping to connect New Mexicans with resources on civil legal matters through a partnership between the State Library and the Commission on Access to Justice.

The State Library’s website offers information about civil legal topics and programs that provide legal services to low-and-moderate income people without an attorney.

FBI: Mexican National Sentenced To Four Years, Nine Months In Prison For Carjacking

ALBUQUERQUE — Alexander M.M. Uballez, United States Attorney for the District of New Mexico, announced that Gael Rodriguez was sentenced Nov. 1 to four years and nine months in prison for carjacking. Rodriguez, 20, a citizen of Mexico, pleaded guilty March 23.

Jan. 16, Rodriguez approached an elderly victim in northwest Albuquerque outside her apartment complex and asked her for a cigarette. The victim responded that she had no cigarettes and Rodriguez then demanded her purse and the keys for her vehicle. Secret Service: ‘No Drone Zone’ Restriction In Albuquerque

Due to protective operations in Albuquerque, the Secret Service, in coordination with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), has established a drone flight restriction Nov. 3.

The New Mexico State Police is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Juliette Martinez, a 15-year-old runaway.
