Los Alamos Mountain Club Finishes Strong At 2025 New Mexico Long Course State Championships In Albuquerque

The 2025 New Mexico Long Course State Championships were held July 10-13 at the West Mesa Aquatic Center in Albuquerque, hosted by Beast Aquatic Club. Mountain Club qualified 20 swimmers, 17 of whom competed in 98 individual events and 9 relays. They finished 4th overall with 389 team points among 18 teams.

Open House: Draft Concepts For North Mesa Recreation Plan

Los Alamos County Community Services invites the public to an open house from 5:30–7 p.m., Tuesday, July 22, at Fuller Lodge, to review and provide input on draft concepts for the North Mesa Recreation Plan.

The plan proposes renovations to the 26-acre North Mesa Recreation Area—also known as “FEMA-ville”—which features sports fields, tennis courts, playgrounds, and more.
