Season Passes Now On Sale At Pajarito Mountain Providing Access To More Than 5,000 Acres Of Skiing

The Los Alamos Bombshells and the Los Alamos Nukes rugby teams competed Saturday in Albuquerque against teams from around the state.

The teams will be hosting a Rugby Round Robin Saturday, April 22 at Sullivan Field.

The matches will run from approximately 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and attendance is free.

Nearly 80 Los Alamos High School (LAHS) Track & Field JV athletes traveled to Sue Cleveland High School in Rio Rancho to compete last Wednesday afternoon and evening against athletes from Cleveland, Rio Rancho, Albuquerque Academy, Los Lunas and Moriatry.

The ice-fishing season is likely over. Eagle Nest Lake, Fenton Lake and Lake Maloya all closed to ice fishing last week. The only lakes where they may still be ice fishing would be small, high-elevation lakes like Cabresto near Questa and Hopewell Lake between Tres Piedras and Tierra Amarilla. Use extreme caution this time of year before venturing on to any ice.
