LAHS Men’s Volleyball Team Kicks Off Inaugural Season

The Los Alamos High School Hilltoppers varsity softball team hosted the Robertson Cardinals Monday afternoon at Hope Field.

Despite some gusty winds, the Toppers held their own on both offense and defense in a very close matchup.

The Toppers rallied in the 7th inning but came up short with a final score of 9-7 in favor of the Cardinals.

Purgatory Hosts 2023 Pond Skim Event Sunday April 9

PURGATORY News:

The 2023 Pond Skim event will take place 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Sunday, April 9 with live music, beer, outrageous competition and costumes. The pond skim will take place 12:30-3 p.m. at Purgatory.

Sunday also marks the end of daily operations at Purgatory. Purgatory will be open weekends only, April 15-16 and 22-23 (Saturday/Sunday operations). The mountain is currently 100% open with a 92-inch base and 371 inches of snowfall total this year. It’s been an epic season Read More

The Los Alamos High School Hilltoppers varsity baseball team was on the road this weekend for a District double header against the Taos Tigers.

Both games were dominated by the Toppers who defeated the Tigers 12-1 in the first game and 12-4 in the second.

The Toppers will play their next game at 4 p.m. Wednesday at home.

The Los Alamos High School Hilltoppers varsity softball team traveled to Taos Saturday for a District double header against the Taos Lady Tigers.

Both games were lopsided in favor of the Toppers who won the first game 16-1 and the second game 17-3.

The Toppers will host Las Vegas Robertson at home at 4 p.m. Monday. The game will be broadcast on the Los Alamos Daily Post YouTube channel.
