Los Alamos High School Standout Jared Mang Named Gatorade New Mexico Baseball Player of the Year!

CHICAGO — In its 30th year of honoring the nation’s best high school athletes, The Gatorade Company, in collaboration with USA TODAY High School Sports, today announced Jared Mang of Los Alamos High School as its 2014-15 Gatorade New Mexico Baseball Player of the Year.

Mang is the first Gatorade New Mexico Baseball Player of the Year to be chosen from Los Alamos High School.

Los Alamos School of Gymnastics platinum and gold gymnasts, who will be competing in Regionals later this month, traveled to Denver this past weekend to compete against 12 Colorado teams at Encore Gymnastics.

Katie Gattiker was the top predictor in the weekly pace race Tuesday at East Park being only 3 seconds off her predicted time.

She was followed by Sam Crooks and David Kratzer who tied at a 5 second differential. Aurea Rojas recorded 10 seconds off her estimated time.
