News Alert: Water Break On Trinity Drive
COUNTY News:
Crews with the Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities have responded at about 11:30 a.m. today to a water break on Trinity Drive, west of 20 Street and across from Ashley Pond Park.
Mobilization of traffic control devices and excavation equipment was expected to occur around noon.
East bound traffic will be affected. For the safety of the crews and public, motorists are advised to slow down and obey traffic signs.

News Alert: Another Water Break In White Rock
News Alert:
Water crews with the Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities are responding today to a another water break in White Rock.
The break is on Rover Boulevard between N.M. 4 and Meadow Lane. Crews will be working in the middle of the road dropping the center lane north of Meadow to repair the water distribution line.
Motorists are asked to obey the speed limit and traffic control devices. It was not necessary to shut off water services for customers. They are backfilling and cleaning up the site. Crews estimate that by 5 p.m. they will complerte the work.

Tsikumu Village Improvements Project Begins April 1
COUNTY News:
Construction activities begin Monday, April 1 on the Tsikumu Village Improvements Project in Los Alamos. Albuquerque Asphalt Inc. will conduct the work.
Proposed improvements include:
- mill existing asphalt pavement surface;
- overlay with new asphalt; and
- concrete valley gutters.
Proposed improvements also include limited concrete replacement (approximately 5 percent) of sidewalks, valley gutters, curb and gutter, fillets, drive pads and ADA curb ramps at designated locations on the following streets:
- Sioux;
- Cheyenne;
- Seminole;
- Iroquois;
- Yuma; and
- Ute.

News Alert: Second Water Break On NM 4

COUNTY News:
The Los Alamos County Department of Public Utilities is reporting this morning that another water break has occurred on N.M. 4 approximately 1 mile south of East Jemez Road (Truck Route).
DPU water crews are working in the shoulder on the east side of the road. Traffic traveling north toward N.M. 502 are encouraged to slow down near the construction footprint.
DPU said that water service to the White Rock community will not be impacted.
