Traffic Alert: Utility Work On Rover Saturday April 6

Traffic Alert:

Weather permitting, water crews with the Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities will replace a section of water line on Rover Boulevard between N.M. 4 and Meadow Lane.

Work is scheduled for one day only beginning at 8 a.m. and wrapping up by 7 p.m. Saturday, April 6.

Traffic control devices will be erected on the east side of the road and will block the south driveway for Del Norte Credit Union. The north driveway will remain open for ingress and egress to the credit union. Northbound traffic on Rover Rover Boulevard will be shifted to the center lane around the construction zone. Read More

Water crews with Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities have completed temporary repairs to the water line in Rover Boulevard between N.M. 4 and Meadow Lane. 

All traffic control devices have been demobilized and the southbound lane is open.

A permanent replacement of this section of water line is scheduled to occur Saturday, April 6.

New Alert:

Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities is reporting another water break in White Rock on Rover Boulevard between N.M. 4 and Meadow Lane.

DPU water crews will shift southbound traffic into the center turn lane beginning around 10 a.m. today to complete temporary repairs.

No interruption of water services are anticipated.

The estimated time repairs will be completed is unknown at this time. Permanent replacement of this section of waterline is scheduled to occur Saturday, April 6.
