Los Alamos County Atomic City Transit Service Schedule On Indigenous People’s Day Holiday Monday Oct. 9

COUNTY News:

Los Alamos County Atomic City Transit (ACT) has announced that fixed route bus service will not operate on Monday, Oct. 9 in observance of the Indigenous Peoples’ Day.

ACT will operate a Dial a Ride Service 6 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Residents must call (505) 661-RIDE (7433) to schedule a ride on a first come first serve basis beginning at 5:45 a.m. Monday. The last time is 5:15 p.m. to reserve a ride.

Have this information available when scheduling a ride:

  • Rider’s name;
  • Pick-up and drop off locations; and
  • Phone number.

The New Mexico State Police (NMSP) joined law enforcement agencies nationwide in recognizing National Child Passenger Safety Awareness Week, which took place Sept. 17 to Sept. 23, 2023.
