Cinema Cindy Reviews: Deadpool And Wolverine

“Deadpool and Wolverine” opened nationwide on Friday and is playing locally at SALA through August 8th. This is the third, major release Deadpool movie with Ryan Reynolds in the title role, after the original in 2016 and Deadpool 2 in 2018. (Apparently, there was one called “Once Upon a Deadpool”, also in 2018.) All of them have been rated “R”.

The TGIF concert this week features “Participants’ Recital for the Santa Fe Summer Organ Academy”  Aug. 2 at First Presbyterian Church, 208 Grant Ave. in Santa Fe.

The community is invited to ejoy the music of these talented organists. The doors to the sanctuary open at 5:15 p.m. and the concert begins at 5:30 p.m. The concert is free with donations accepted.

This is the fifth Summer Organ Academy. The Academy is led by Kimberly Marshall.

All three of the Pajarito Environmental Education Center (PEEC)’s Passport to the Pajarito Plateau booklets are back in stock, thanks to support from N3B. The community is invited to stop by the Los Alamos Nature Center to pick up  trails passports today.

Consisting of three editions, each passport contains a series of 16 trails to hike throughout the Pajarito Plateau. The Passport program is free, and participants earn prizes as they complete hikes.
