Inaugural Pajarito Oktoberfest Draws Large Crowd

The inaugural Pajarito Oktoberfest drew a large crowd Saturday to Pajarito Mountain. Pajarito Mountain and TCR Productions teamed up to produce this all-around win for the community. This collaboration yielded the Pajarito Mountain Run 10K, which benefits the Los Alamos High School Cross Country Team. PUEBLO of POJOAQUE – The Poeh Cultural Center will host a Halloween extravaganza, the “Trunk or Treat” 5:30-7:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 30.

Get ready for Halloween and explore the ecology and natural beauty of the East Mountains at the Sandia Mountain Natural History Center (SMNHC) Spooky Night 5:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25.

SMNHC Spooky Night is a chance to meet a live owl, go for a night hike, learn about nocturnal creatures, view the moon and night sky, visit the Center’s museum, and enjoy all-ages activities focused on the moon.
