The PTO for Barranca Mesa Elementary School is hosting their annual Trick-or-Trot 5K Fun Run & Walk on Saturday, Oct. 28 at Barranca Mesa Elementary School, 57 Loma Del Escolar.

The 1 Miler starts at 9 a.m. and the 5K will begin at 9:30 a.m.

Wear your best costume and join in the most fun event of the Halloween season! Monsters of all ages and fitness levels are invited to participate. SANTA FE — Saturday, Oct. 14, New Mexico will become one of the world’s premier viewing locations for the annular solar eclipse.

To celebrate, the New Mexico Tourism Department (NMTD) will be giving away limited-edition sticker decals that depict the fortuitous overlap of the annular solar eclipse and the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta.

The Los Alamos Community Winds (LACW) will present its Fall Celebration Concert 7 p.m. Saturday,  Oct. 14 p.m. at the Crossroads Bible Church at 97 East Road in Los Alamos.
