Fiesta Of Cultures Returns To Coronado Historic Site Oct. 21

Fiesta of Cultures will take over Coronado Historic Site (CHS) 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21.

Fiesta of Cultures is an annual event held by the Friends of Coronado and Jemez Historic Sites, welcoming people from all walks of life to share space.

Visitors can expect an arts and crafts fair, live entertainment, demonstrations, and kids-friendly activities—there will even be bread baking in the site’s newly built horno!

The Bradbury Science Museum is offering something a little different this season with hands-on STEM education fun for the whole family at High-Tech Halloween, 4-6 p.m., on Friday, Oct. 27, at the museum at 1450 Central Ave.

DPU To Debut Thermal Cameras With Ghost Hunt Oct. 28

The Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities (DPU) will launch its next conservation and energy efficiency tool—a thermal camera—on Nov. 1 through the Library of Things. Before that, DPU will partner with the Los Alamos Public Library to host a ghost hunt using thermal cameras Saturday, Oct. 28 at the Los Alamos Little Theatre (LALT).
