Atomic Tumblers Compete In Trick Or Treat Meet At Zia Gymnastics In Santa Fe
LASG News:
Los Alamos Atomic Tumblers traveled to Santa Fe this past weekend to compete in the Trick or Treat Meet at Zia Gymnastics. Eight teams and more than 100 gymnasts from New Mexico participated in the competition.
Kayli Lincoln and Danielle Bellamy represented LASG in the Junior Olympic Compulsory competition, level 4. Lincoln took bronze in the all-around with 33.65. She also was golden on both the balance beam (9.00) and floor exercise (8.95), capturing first in both events. Bellamy was eighth all-around with 32.35. Toppers Beat Espanola 56-0 Monday Night

The Los Alamos Ski Club announced today that the management group that operates Sipapu Ski and Summer Resort officially started operating Pajarito Mountain Ski Area.

LAHS Hosts Annual Invitational Cross Country Friday
SPORTS News:
Los Alamos High School will host its annual Invitational Cross Country meet Friday, Oct. 24, at the Los Alamos Golf Course.
The meet is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. and end around 5:30 p.m. Participants and spectators will arrive as early as 1 p.m.

NMAA Selects Its First Monthly ‘Compete With Class’ Honoree
NMAA News:
ALBUQUERQUE—The New Mexico Activities Association is proud to announce that the Des Moines High School Volleyball team has been recognized as the Compete with Class award recipient for the month of September.
The team came together to raise $215 for a fellow volleyball player from Colorado who was diagnosed with Leukemia two weeks prior to their match. The girls baked several cakes and raised money to donate to the opposing student’s medical fund.
