LAFC Girls Youth Soccer Teams Excel At Final Tournaments!

The Pre-Competitive LAFC Girls Soccer team finished the season strong at the Socctoberfest Tournament held over Halloween weekend in Farmington! The all-girls team consists of mostly 2nd and 3rd graders and plays in the Santa Fe pre-competitive soccer league against teams from Northern NM! They rocked minions uniforms for the Socctoberfest tourney, and not only were they stylish, they also played excellent team soccer. Toppers Fall To Gadsden High School Panthers 14-43

The Los Alamos High School Hilltopper football team runs onto the field at Sal Gonzales Stadium Saturday afternoon to play the Gadsden High School Panthers in a quarterfinal game in Anthony. In spite of the score, it was a very good game played by both team with lots of action, but the Panthers overcame the Toppers to win the contest 43-14 and the loss closed out the Topper’s season. Los Alamos School of Gymnastics (LASG) opened its 50th season on the road with the Judges Invite recently at the Albuquerque Gymnastics School.

Emma Fadner was the high scorer of the day for Los Alamos. She won the Bronze senior division with a 36.65 and also took first place in all four events with 9.5 on vault, 9.375 on bars, 9.125 on beam and 8.65 on floor.

It was senior appreciation night at the Topper/Moriarty volleyball game Tuesday night in Griffith Gymnasium. The seniors were recognized and honered for their contributions and service to the Topper’s volleyball game.
