A non-DPU water line break has impacted the roadway on East Jemez near the Los Alamos Transit Mix station and the eastbound traffic will be blocked at 6 p.m. today through 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 3.

No downhill traffic will be allowed during this time and only westbound (uphill traffic) will be allowed.

SANTA FE  The public is invited to comment on the New Mexico Department of Transportation’s new 2018 – 2023 State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP).
 
The program will serve as a four year plan for the state’s federal aid highway program and will be implemented Oct. 1.
 
The STIP contains proposed road and bridge projects and is required under the federal legislation. Projects on the list are on federal and state highways (roads with I, U.S. or NM designations).

New Mexico Department Of Transportation Announces Online Survey For State Rail Plan

NMDOT News:

SANTA FE – Today, the New Mexico Department of Transportation announced the availability of an online survey to find out which railroad issues are important to New Mexicans and for providing input to update the State Rail Plan.

The survey is accessible through this link.

The 2018 Rail Plan will explore these issues to identify potential solutions. The updated Rail Plan will also describe the current state of New Mexico’s rail system, articulate a strategic vision for the future of the rail system, and identify projects and funding sources to support that vision.
